This assignment came through a friend of a friend and on short notice I found myself in Lodhi Gardens. It’s amazing how photography has forced me to go out of my comfort zone and explore new things. I wonder why we keep restricting ourselves and fear so much to go out and take risks. I still do. I have been living in Delhi for so many years and this was the first time I was visiting this place. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance. There were several photographers like me which made me feel a little comfortable.
The family arrived and at the end of the shoot they loved the pictures and I loved the outcome too. Beautiful family, beautiful people, lovely couple. I specially loved the individual portraits of the expecting mother. Win win!
