For past few years I’ve been spending my birthday in a new place. This year it was almost certain that I’d be spending it at home. Thanks to an assignment I got to visit Lucknow for the first time. Unfortunately I couldn’t take my family because it wasn’t a vacation but I was happy to be out. The railway stations were a pleasant surprise. Clean and almost empty. Lucknow for first impression I didn’t feel like I have come to a new place. Different areas had looks similar to some of the areas in the NCR. On second day when we visited the Imam Bada is when it felt different. Sharing some pictures from the place.
And like any new place we look forward to trying how the tea tastes like. A place with good tea gets our thumbs up immediately. We did find one such place that put a smile on our tea-lovers’ faces. Just for fun we went for some chaat or gol gappe in the afternoon but golgappe were disappointing for me.
